Yes. Orcoli is based on the 360-degree feedback model where you receive feedback from your colleagues anonymously.
However it?s a customized version of 360-degree feedback model where you receive direct feedback, on an ongoing basis, and from possibly all the colleagues in your work history. Moreover, you can track your and your colleagues? performance across industries, companies, and designations. You will also be able to benchmark your performance against successful individual in the industry.
The eventual goal of a 360-degree feedback model in an organization is individual development of the employee. Similarly, Orcoli provides a platform for an individual to receive feedback from his colleague/peers/subordinates. The feedback is real-time, candid and continuous.

| What is the meaning of anonymous rating / How will my rating stay anonymous? |
At Orcoli feedback, we respect your opinion and will ensure that your feedback is anonymous. Your feedback will be counted towards the final evaluation of the individual you have rated, but your identity WILL N OT BE DISCLOSED. Here is how it works:
- When you rate a fellow professional, your rating will impact the performance immediately, however, your identity does not appear alongside your rating.
- All member names will appear only in batches of 3 in a random manner i.e. If you are the first user to rate a professional, your name will appear only after a total of 3 users have rated the specific individual.
- The user will know that you have rated them, but will know neither your exact rating nor your comments.

| I want to rate a person I searched but I couldn't find that person, how do I rate him/her? |
Please ensure that you have entered the correct details when searching for the individual you want to rate and have used our advance search feature. If you have entered the correct detail, and are still not been able to find the individual, then the individual has not yet registered on the site.
In such a case, the good news is that you can "CREATE THE PROFILE" of the individual you want to rate. At Orcoli, you will always be able to rate the individual even if they are not registered on the website. Here is how it works:
i) Provide basic information about the individual you want to rate anonymously such as name, organization, and designation.
ii) Once the profile is created, you have an option of rating that individual.
iii) You also have an option of sharing the profile page to various email addresses and thereby you can let the person know about the profile you have created. You will also be able to invite your colleagues to visit and rate the profile you have created.
Please be assured that at any stage of the process, your name will not be disclosed. |

| How is the rating calculated? |
An individual is evaluated on the basis of key aspects such as Ethics, Team Spirit, Communication, Task Management, etc. on a scale of 1 to 5 (Very Dissatisfied to Very Satisfied). The overall rating of an individual is dependent on the final question in the survey ?how good are you as an employee?? The overall rating is the total % employees who chose 4 or 5 to this question.

Our rating system ensures that only those individuals who have worked with you are able to evaluate you. Also, every user has a ability to contest (contest is hyperlinked) any rating that they have received if they think that the person who has rated you is not genuine.
i) In case you receive ratings from a suspicious user, who is actually not your manager, peer or subordinate, you have an option of contesting the rating
ii) To contest a rating, you will need to fill out basic details such as why are you contesting the rating/member
iii) Apart from you, even a 3rd party (who has rated you) can contest the ratings that you might have received
iv) Site administrators will review your application, do the research, verify the claim and take the necessary action.
v) The process of contesting the rating is customized and ensures that the ratings that are being put on the site are trustworthy

Yes and No. We believe that all our members are mature enough to rate their colleagues. Hence, all our members have the ability to edit their rating more than once. However, please know that you cannot rate the person twice i.e. your ratings would not be calculated twice. |

When you rate an individual who is not registered on the site, the site will ask for email address and user can inform to whosever he wants to let know about the rating. Don?t worry, the site wont disclose the name of the individual who has sent the email. |

Once you have found/created the profile of the colleague you want to evaluate, you need to fill out the following pre-survey questions:
i) How are you related (Manager, Peer, Subordinate)
ii) Frequency of interaction
iii) When did you last work with the person you want to evaluate
The improvement trend is calculated based on when you have last worked with year. |
